Ceramic chimneys Wolfshöher Tonwerke

Wolfshöher Tonwerke ceramic pipes are special pipes made from refractory clay for ceramic chimneys. The pipes are manufactured according to the highest standards of quality for chimney systems in Germany and the European Union.

The pipes come in various diameters, ranging from 120 to 300 mm, allowing for the installation of chimneys for a wide range of purposes – from small stoves for supplementary heating to large industrial heating equipment that operates on gas or any other fuel. The thickness of the ceramic material varies from 15 to 25 mm, depending on the diameter.

Wolfshöher Tonwerke manufactures ceramic pipes that are non-absorbent, resistant to aggressive environments and temperature fluctuations, and suitable for all types of fuels.

All pipes and fitting elements meet the requirements of European and domestic standards, have the CE mark, and all necessary certificates from the EU and Russia, as well as the required permits for operation.

Wolfshöher Tonwerke provides a 30-year warranty on the durability of ceramic pipes against corrosion, moisture, and high temperatures.

Wolfshöher Tonwerke
In our range of ceramic pipes made of chamotte, you can find all components needed for the removal of flue gases: besides standard-sized pipes, we also offer solutions for inspection and cleaning tees, connectors for consumer and inspection ports, doors, elements for LAS systems, and various options for constructing the base for the chimney. We provide a wide selection of diameters for our chimney pipes to meet the specific requirements of our customers.
Properties of our chimneys

Our chimneys made of refractory material provide maximum versatility in heat sources and fuels, as well as the best quality and durability:

  • Suitable for connecting stoves, fireplaces, and boilers
  • High mechanical strength ensuring static stability under the weight of the structure for exhaust gas removal and against wind loads.
  • Low gas and water permeability.
  • High resistance to acid influence.
  • Endurance against freezing/thawing cycles, verified according to DIN EN 14297 1.
  • High wear resistance during chimney cleaning operations.
  • Low flow resistance due to smooth surface.

REVISION (Inspection) COVER

A necessary addition to the revision tee connector. Closes the revision opening securely and reliably.

– Essential complement to the revision elbow connector
– Does not require additional fixation
– Securely seals the shaft
– Provides easy access

Size – 125×255 mm
Diameter – from 120 to 200 mm
Ceramic thickness – from 15 to 25 mm

Due to its shape, it does not require additional reinforcement within the frame of the revision tee connector.

REVISION (Inspection) FRAME

The ceramic frame allows for on-site installation of the revision opening, for example, under the roof.

– Enables on-site revision installation
– Secures the ceramic closure
– Rectangular ceramic frame
– Requires skills in working with pipes

Size – 130×260 mm
Diameter – from 120 to 300 mm
Ceramic thickness – from 15 to 25 mm

In some cases, chimney revision may need to be performed without using a revision tee connector.

CONNECTING PIPE

The ceramic connector is used to create a connection to the chimney.

– Enables on-site connection installation
– Two angle options for the connection
– Dense ceramic for reliability
– Requires special skills.

Height – 660 mm
Diameter – from 120 to 300 mm
Ceramic thickness – 20 mm

It allows for making the connection exactly at the planned location and height according to the project.

Acid-resistant compound

Special dry mixture for preparing acid-resistant mortar for bonding ceramic pipes.

– Essential addition to the inspection process
– Does not require additional fixation
– Securely closes the shaft
– Provides easy access

Packaging – 1 and 11 kg
Consumption – depends on the diameter
Application – for W3 and TR pipes

It is essential to follow the water-to-mixture ratio: 1 part water to 7 parts of the mixture. The mixture should be added to the water.

The exceptional properties of the material make ceramic pipes for chimneys truly versatile, allowing consumers to use pipes of only one type for all heat sources using natural fuels with high and low temperatures of flue gases (wall-mounted and floor-standing boilers, fireplaces, heat accumulators, bread ovens, gas water heaters, condensing equipment).
Even in the case of a possible future replacement of the heat source with a more modern model, there will be no need to change the chimney pipe.

The well-thought-out geometry of the pipe edges and fittings ensures their reliable connection to each other, while the specially developed acid-resistant compound seals the seams and eliminates the possibility of gases and moisture penetrating the external surface of the pipes.

The smooth internal surface of the round-shaped pipe ensures optimal aerodynamic properties of the structure under any operating conditions, whether under natural draft or excessive pressure.

The consumption of acid-resistant mortar per 10 linear meters of pipe is as follows:

d 120 mm – 3 kg
d 140 mm – 3 kg
d 160 mm – 4 kg
d 180 mm – 4 kg
d 200 mm – 6 kg
d 220 mm – 8 kg
d 250 mm – 10 kg
d 300 mm – 12 kg
